Dear Harry, I worked with Pete for 8 months, weekly sessions for the first 6 months and then fortnightly. Pete is 72 and lives alone, Tasmania, all consultations were by zoom with phone calls if needed. When I started seeing Chris I was almost house bound, deeply depressed and avoiding simple daily things like walking my dog, making my bed and even showering. She stayed in a gentle non judgemental zone, just listening, nothing I said seemed to shock her. Together we made plans for some action, some homework after each session, like journalism, picking up my guitar to at least tune it, going for a short walk with the dog. Within a few weeks I had started renovations on my house again, as I already had sanded walls and bought the paint. I was so proud when I finished the laundry and bathroom. I started having conversations with people in the corner shop and revisited an old dear friend in a nursing home, on my third visit I took my dog and guitar to play for the residents. Piece by piece, I found myself again. I cannot thank Chris enough, she helped me achieve miracles. 2023/24 I have asked for 3 more so will get them to you soon. Much love ❤️
